df04ae29b2 * exceptions.cc (ctrl_c_handler): Send SIGHUP when events occur only if there 
is a tty associated with the process.  Send SIGHUP on CTRL_LOGOFF_EVENT.
* fhandler_tty.cc (fhandler_tty_slave::open): Adjust console open handle
counter regardless of whether this is a pty or tty.
(fhandler_tty_slave::open): Ditto.
(fhandler_tty_slave::dup): Ditto.
(fhandler_tty_common::set_close_on_exec): Ditto.
(fhandler_tty_master::init_console): Decrement console open handle counter
after init since it will now be handled by all tty open.

until MTinterface is initialized.
(reent_winsup): Fix a possible SEGV when _r == NULL.  Return NULL instead.

mainthread.

3bfed277d6 * fhandler_tty.cc (fhandler_tty_master::init): Set initial size of tty to that 
of console in which tty is operating.
(process_input): Semi-revert previous change.  Need to just use current
terminfo settings since this function is running in a thread, blocked when the
terminfo changes.

current termios for passing to line_edit prior so that all characters are
processed consistently.

(process_input): Make a copy of curent termios prior to read for use in
subsequent line_edit.

8bce0d723c Throughout, change fhandler_*::read and fhandler_*::raw_read to void functions 
whose second arguments are both the lenght and the return value.
* fhandler.cc (fhandler_base::read): Rework slightly to use second argument as
input/output.  Tweak CRLF stuff.
(fhandler_base::readv): Accommodate fhandler_*::read changes.
* cygthread.h (cygthread::detach): Declare as taking optional handle argument.
(cygthread::detach): When given a handle argument, wait for the handle to be
signalled before waiting for thread to detach.  Return true when signal
detected.

Assume that they exit via an ExitThread call.
