Corinna Vinschen 9a3c058f66 Cygwin: /proc/<PID>/status: Fill SigPnd, SigBlk and SigIgn values with life
So far the values of SigPnd and SigBlk were always 0 and SigIgn
was incorrectly set to the block mask of the current thread of
the calling process.

Fix that by adding a _pinfo::siginfo method and a PICOM_SIGINFO
message to allow to request actual signal info of any running process.

Mike Frysinger 6226bad0ea change _COMPILING_NEWLIB to _LIBC
Use the same name as glibc & gnulib to indicate "newlib itself is
being compiled". This also harmonizes the codebase a bit in that
_LIBC was already used in places instead of _COMPILING_NEWLIB.

Building for bfin-elf, mips-elf, and x86_64-pc-cygwin produces
the same object code.

Corinna Vinschen 8d0ff0768f Cygwin: drop internal O_NOSYMLINK and O_DIROPEN flags
Both flags are outdated and collide with official flags in
sys/_default_fcntl.h, which may result in weird misbehaviour
of file functions.

O_NOSYMLINK is not used anyway.

O_DIROPEN is used in fhandler_virtual and derived classes.
The collision with O_NOFOLLOW results in spurious EISDIR
errors when, e. g., reading files in the registry.
fhandler_base::open_fs uses O_DIROPEN in the call to
fhandler_base::open, but it's not used in this context
further down the road.

Drop both flags and create an alternative "diropen" bool
flag in fhandler_virtual.

Corinna Vinschen e118a605e2 Cygwin: fix /proc/PID/fd return value in error case
commit 2607639992 "Improve error handling in /proc/[pid]/
virtual files." changed the return value of the /proc/PID
formatting functions to return -1 instead of 0 in the error
case to allow a filesize of 0.

The patch neglected to change this behaviour for /proc/PID/fd
content. This patch fixes that.

Erik M. Bray 2607639992 Improve error handling in /proc/[pid]/ virtual files.
* Changes error handling to allow /proc/[pid]/ virtual files to be
empty in some cases (in this case the file's formatter should return
  -1 upon error, not 0).

* Better error handling of /proc/[pid]/stat for zombie processes:
previously trying to open this file on zombie processes resulted
in an EINVAL being returned by open(). Now the file can be read,
and fields that can no longer be read are just zeroed.

* Similarly for /proc/[pid]/statm for zombie processes.

* Similarly for /proc/[pid]/maps for zombie processes (in this case the
file can be read but is zero-length, which is consistent with observed
  behavior on Linux.

Corinna Vinschen 048f28bfe4 Cygwin: proc: return more useful cmdline
Creating /proc/<PID>/cmdline requires permissions to communicate
with the target process via its signal pipe. If that fails, the

process name info, albeit not the full cmdline.

Corinna Vinschen 7aca27b4fe Cygwin: introduce fhandler_process_fd and add stat(2) handling
move special fd symlink code into own fhandler_process_fd class
to simplify further additions to /proc/PID/fd/DESCRIPTOR symlink
handling.

Add a method to handle stat(2) on such a proc fd symlink by handle.
This allows correct reply from stat(2) if the target file has been
deleted. This eventually fixes `awk -f /dev/fd/3 3<<eof'.

Corinna Vinschen 732613f30a Cygwin: implement /proc/PID/fd/DESCRIPTOR reopening by handle
Allows expressions along the lines of `cat /proc/self/fd/0 <<EOF'.
The problem here is that the temporary file used for the here script
has already been deleted by the shell. Opening by filename, as
implemented so far, doesn't work because the file has been moved
to the bin.

Allow reopening files by handle the same way from another process
as long as we have sufficient permissions on the foreign process.

Corinna Vinschen 11dcf9cb5c Open process with PROCESS_QUERY_INFORMATION to fetch maps
Commit ba58e5f lowered permission requirements when opening threads
and processes to {PROCESS,THREAD}_QUERY_LIMITED_INFORMATION. However,
when creating the /proc/<PID>/maps file, the call to VirtualQueryEx
requires PROCESS_QUERY_INFORMATION access

Note: It seems PROCESS_QUERY_LIMITED_INFORMATION is sufficient starting
with Windows 8.1, but this is neither documented on MSDN, nor is it a
safe bet. It may have to do with a fixed implementation of the UAC
trust levels. Let's better follow the docs for now.

Revamp device parsing code. Introducing support for more partitions

raising the size of the DLL by almost 2 Megs. Therefore we split out

While at it, remove some unused cruft from devices.* and generally
clean up the device class to provide access methods instead of direct
